This page presents a grid of interactive flashcards.
Each card shows an image and the corresponding word (e.g. broom, mop, dishwasher, sponge).
When clicked or tapped, each card plays an audio clip of the word's pronunciation.
The visuals help with understanding and memory.
The design is simple and responsive, so it works well on phones, tablets, or shared screens.
Show the flashcards on screen and go over the words one by one.
Click each card so students can hear the pronunciation.
Have them repeat chorally and then individually.
Ask questions like: "What do you use a broom for?" or "Which of these chores do you do every day?"
Make it interactive — students can take turns saying the word, describing it, or miming it.
For group practice, you can hide the names (or cover them on screen) and test recognition.
This page can also be assigned as home practice.
Students can open it anytime to review and listen to the words again.
Encourage them to repeat the pronunciation several times and take notes of any new or tricky words.
For beginners, go slowly through pronunciation. Focus on sounds that differ from the students' native language.
You can make it a mini game: show a card for one second, hide it, and ask, "What was it?"
Encourage students to revisit this page after class — it's designed for autonomous study too.
